WorldNo fewer than 16 of the 40 parables preached by Jesus mention coins or money. Have you ever wondered what the 30 pieces of silver—the money given to Judas for his betrayal—actually looked like? They were real coins, like the ones we spend today. What about the Widow’s Mites (two tiny coins that offered a profound lesson in giving): what did they look like? Or the Tribute Penny so famously “rendered unto Caesar”? And what kind of money did the Good Samaritan pay to the innkeeper? In the award-winning Money of the Bible, these questions and more are explored by one of the most famous coin researchers of our time. Kenneth Bressett’s fascinating book gives us a better understanding of ancient life and the truth in the words of the Old and New Testaments. 3rd Edition, Updated and Revised: A fascinating numismatic chronicle of events. Fully illustrated; now with more images. Hardcover 114 pages

Mexico“A Variety Guide to the Silver and Copper Coinage of the Mexico City Mint, 1732-1771 is dedicated exclusively to all denominations and dates of this coinage, in as much details as has even been presented. A great deal of fragmentary historical research is synthesized to present a current accounting of types, with rarity and estimated prices. Included are descriptions of 573 dates and varieties, with close to 600 photos. This guide also brings together, in one volume, many facets of both the history leading up to the first strikes, and the details behind the major design changes seen during the forty years of issue.\" Signed by the author. MexicoColor Re-Print of Grove Vol 1! ISBN: 979-8-9888531-1-4 Format: 8.5x11, Softcover, 216 pages Publication date: Dec 28th 2023 Frank Grove s herculean lifetime effort to catalogue the medals of Mexico has stood the test of time, remaining the standard reference for collectors, auctioneers and graders for over 50 years. Medal collecting has surged in popularity, but being out-of-print, his books have become increasingly unobtainable for new collectors. Since the advent of the internet, many previously un-photographed medals have also come to light. This 3rd edition updates the reader with hundreds of high resolution color images from recent auctions and aims to give new collectors an insight into this wonderful area of Mexican history. Volume 1 available now! The standard reference for Mexican colonial medals Also incorporating issues from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador The standard reference used by grading companies and major auction houses 200+ color images replace grainy black and white photos and sketches A new tribute obituary to Frank Grove
