This is an 1908/888 overdate, although not identified as such on the insert. An extremely rare copper pattern for the popular and very elusive gold 5 Pesos type. A most attractive coin for the assigned grade with strong luster remains underneath the old toning. The finest example known to us and vastly superior to the only other piece publicly offered in the past 10 years(now certified as XF45 NGC with the overdate properly noted as 1908/888).
