Well struck and highly lustrous, an outstanding representative of this coveted two-year type, very rare in this quality. Currently tied with another coin as the finest certified at NGC, with no Mint State coins in the current census. The only recent offerings of this issue traced by us were of noticeably inferior examples: an XF45 coin which hammered for $5000 in 2015 and the ex. Rudman piece (AU details, bent) which hammered for $4,400 also in 2015.
