Most of the design details are very well intact with some faint peripheral patina that is visible on the obverse. Despite the coin entering circulation, these surfaces remain well preserved with attractive patina as faded golden hues are exhibited and surfaces the seem to be free from any heavy marks. This “Rat Nose” variety was produced in Colombia from 1770 to 1771. This overdate is of extreme rarity and was missing from the Norweb and Eliasberg Collections.
