These were struck from crude flans and the obverse exhibits this characteristic. Reverse seems to be very well defined considering how crudely the issue was struck. Many of these are found in less than stellar condition. This UNC example has attractive looking surfaces, with some friction on the highpoints, and pleasing patina to view.
