Die polish can be seen on the surfaces with some die cracks present as well because of the crude dies used which deteriorated during the striking of this coin. For the issue this is very well struck with notably appealing cartwheel luster on both sides. The patina is a mixture of gold, some amber golds, and some trace darker tones that are present as well. This is the finest example graded at NGC and only example at this grade level to date.
