Chihuahua mint, KM377.2, DP-Ca04. Brilliant Uncirculated with full mint luster and mild surface handling marks preventing an even higher technical designation. A tad softly struck, as nearly always occurs in this cruder issue, yet an incredibly attractive coin, certainly among the very finest extant. DP comments on this very rare date/assayer combination include “A very rare coin” and “Extremely Fine or better (condition)… is exceedingly rare”, thus clearly indicating the present specimen’s desirability. Certainly destined to occupy a relevant place in an advanced assembly of Caps and Rays issues.
