The porosity exhibited by the surfaces are the most noticeable characteristics anyone viewing the coin will see. Despite the not so pleasant surfaces, the strike remains intact, and most of Alexander’s effigy can be seen. On the reverse, the depiction of Zeus is fairly clear minus the pebbled surfaces. His seated pose holding the Eagle can be made out slightly better than the obverse effigy of Alexander III. Even though the condition of the coin isn’t as stellar as a collector may hope. This example is affordable in comparison to a choice example that may command six-figures. Babylon Mint. obv Heracles. rv Zeus hldg. eagle
