The patina is a mixture of pencil lead grays, some are faded and some are metallic light silver grayish appearing by nature. Both sides appear to have a slightly glossy appearance with lustrous traits and faint adjustment marks exist on the reverse which are hardly visible. Most of the coin is very well struck with some slight weakness on the obverse but the details are quite full for the issue. A handsome appearing coin that shows a lifelike appearance of the king, this example is the finest, and only specimen graded at NGC to date as of 4/30/18.
