Obverse and reverse compliment each other beautifully in terms of toning, strike, and eye-appeal. Gray is what the patina will appear as when this coin is viewed straight on. Turn the obverse a few degrees and the surfaces light up with faint light blues, champagnes, light ambers, and trace magentas. All of these colors blend together seamlessly creating a somewhat picturesque look to view. Reverse has similar colors which display the slightest bit more intensity in terms of color.
