Fantasy/Pattern coinage that was engraved at the Paris mint and later re-struck at Brussels in the 1870’s which is evident from the die rust seen in some places. The patina is primarily gunmetal with some trace of greenish-blues visible and surfaces are boldly struck up. Some gloss is noted on the surfaces which adds to the overall eye-appeal as well.
