Slight flatness exists on the bust area and this issue was probably struck with a repolished die as some evidence of die rust exists on the surfaces. Most of the obverse fields display some evidence of circulation but the peripherals and reverse gleam with pleasant golden luster with traces of amber. This example is tied with one other example at NGC as the finest known as of 10/03/18 and none finer exist at PCGS.
