Durango mint, KM377.4, DP-Do56 (“Very rare”). Lightly toned with scant high-point friction defining the grade and strong underlying luster. Slight softness of strike is noted on the cap, a frequent occurrence per Dunigan-Parker. A handsome example of this very rare date/assayer combination, rated in DP as the 5th rarest date of the Durango mint, certainly among the finest extant and very desirable in this quality.
