The surfaces radiate with blast white cartwheel luster on both sides and the faintest hints of champagne tone the peripheries delicately. Many of these were struck with crude dies leaving surfaces that appear splotchy or rough. The only evidence of any incompleteness on the coin is on the reverse under the 4, which is part of the planchet or annealing process, and mentioned only for the sake of accuracy. Strike is immaculate, as are the lustrous traits of the surfaces, the centering is dead on, and brilliant eye-appeal is exhibited to any viewer of this coin. Finest certified specimen to date at NGC as of 7/10/18.
