This issue was coined from sediment gold found in the Rhine River and the mintage was a mere 2,448 pieces. Both sides are slightly prooflike with brilliant sun yellow golden patina. The surfaces exhibit a sharp strike which contributes to the splendid eye-appeal. Finest graded specimen at NGC as of 10/29/18.
