This coin is beautifully centered and struck very up well for the issue. Evidence of a slightly rusty die being used can be seen on the surfaces. But then again, a notable amount cartwheel luster can also be viewed on theses light gray appearing surfaces. The obverse in terms of patina is made up of light silver gray, faint purple, faded blue, and lights ambers. Reverse is primarily light silver with some moss tones accentuating the strike and slightly radiant luster swirls on the surfaces. This original looking coin that is the second finest known at NGC with pleasing eye-appeal for this scarce type.
